Sangennarobar’s DJ set brings the music of many peoples to the dance floor: ancient and isolated, with intact folk traditions; technological and digital, a modern urban reality; influenced by their migrations or proximity to other tribes. From the same speakers, Indians with sitars, African percussionists, Argentinians with kahon, tango dancers, belly dancers, Bulgarian singers, and nomadic violinists enter . They alternate and blend in a simple, instinctive dance with the typical sounds of the “drum dances” of the Vesuvian area, known throughout the world as Tammurriate and Tarantella.
